Bally/Williams Fliptronics Board for WPC Pinballs by Homepin.
This board is a direct plug in replacement for the original OEM driver board.
This board replaces both original versions of the Fliptronics board and we have populated all connectors so it will also plug directly in to The Addams Family without having to 'ignore' one connector.
We have also populated the C2 position with the correct capacitor. Many original WMS boards and even some after market replacements omit this part and this can cause issues including stuttering flippers if left out.
We fit a full 35 amp bridge rectifier just like the original boards rather than using 5 amp diodes like some replacements.

We fit a full 35 amp bridge rectifier just like the original boards rather than using 5 amp diodes like some replacements.
All output devices are logic level MOSFETS and this greatly simplifies the circuitry over the original as well as providing more current to the coils. We test each finished board in our Getaway machine prior to final packing. Transistors are pinned flat to avoid accidental bending in shipping and in use and fuse covers are also fitted to minimise the chance of accidental shorting.
We will also remove the Texas Instruments logo that is on a few of the chips to avoid any potential customs issues. These chips are indeed genuine T.I. parts purchased from authorised T.I. agents but no matter what proof we provide some customs officers in some countries just will not be convinced. T.I. seem to be the only semiconductor company that actively pursue this issue.
